I was very impressed with this place. The picture of the lighthouse above IS the view we have, above the main strip through St. Ignace. The owner is very friendly and was willing to let me stay over the checkout time to catch a later flight. Rooms are very clean and smell fine, air works good. Great price, very competitive. Directly across from the Star Line RR dock. If your looking for something in the ballpark of $50ish a night, this is the place to go!
This place really does have a great view, it over looks Moran Bay and you can watch the ferries coming and going to the island. The rooms are clean and cozy. This is a great little motel for someone on a budget so if you are on a U.P. adventure give this place try and enjoy the view.
The women at the front desk was very rude! If your trying to run a business be professional!
Beautiful views clean rooms and newer tv's
Older one level motel with nice rooms, the owner Tim knows the area well and very accommodating, has a beautiful view of Lake Huron and a nice deck to socialize and watch the action in the bay and the sunrise. If you are looking for a modern cookie cutter Holiday Inn type of motel this isn't for you, but if you like the old Mom & Pop motels from the 60's this is your place. Google maps shows the way west of town but it's actually within walking distance of downtown.
